2019 Recap

Raising Awareness of our Veterans Through Golf

On December 16th we celebrated our fifth Fore the Brave Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament. The signature event was held at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida. The beautiful course combined with our participants generosity provided an opportunity to serve military veterans, and play a meaningful round of golf.

As a former Army Ranger, our CEO Dr. Michael Murphy is attuned to the unique needs of veterans. Since 2015 we’ve hosted a charity golf tournament and through the years have raised over a half million dollars. Today, as more and more service members return from long deployments, the need for resources to assist the transition to civilian life has grown.

The event was attended by numerous PGA and LPGA pros who help continue our focus on charitable giving for veterans and their families. We raised thousands of dollars for three esteemed charities: Army Ranger Lead the Way FundFolds of Honor, and Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.

This year’s event kicked off with a special treat – our nation’s colors were flown in by a parachute team as our National Anthem played. The event was capped off by a wonderful evening of presentations from representatives of our three charities, and a rousing art presentation by renowned artist Michael Israel.

With your help we know future tournaments will be an even greater success. Thank you for all of the generous support of our sponsors, players and pros.
