Brand Ambassadors

In 2015, we introduced the Fore the Brave Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament presented by HealthChannels (formerly ScribeAmerica Charity Golf Tournament) – an annual event committed to raising funds to support our military veterans. Golf has been a wonderful platform for us to raise funds for several great non-profit organizations while strengthening relationships with our valued partners and friends. We have also built new friends, including some with tremendous golfing talent.

We are proud to introduce our ScribeAmerica Golf Ambassadors – professional golfers who we will support through the 2018 season. They will carry custom ScribeAmerica camouflage golf bags on tour this year, representing ScribeAmerica’s ongoing commitment to veterans.

Lucas Glover

Lucas Glover

HealthChannels Brand Ambassador, Lucas Glover, was born in Greenville, SC and displayed great talent for golf at an early age while attending Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, where he received several major amateur golf victories. Glover turned pro in 2001 after graduating from Clemson University, where he received a bachelor's in speech communication. While attending Clemson, he broke several records, including lowest total score for a 54-hole event (201) and low stroke average by a junior (71.24).

Glover joined the Nationwide Tour in 2002, making 7 of 12 cuts while recording two top-10 finishes and five top-25 finishes in his rookie season. Glover became a member of the PGA in 2004 and is best known for winning the 2009 U.S. Open, a win that launched him from No. 71 to No. 18 in the world rankings, and won his third PGA tournament at the 2011 Wells Fargo Championship.

Glover credits his grandfather, Dick Hendley, Clemson Hall of Fame member and former (1951) NFL Pittsburgh Steeler, for giving him his start in golf, as well as his passion for the sport. Off the course, Glover enjoys reading, music, fishing and is a passionate Clemson Tigers sports fan.

Jaye Marie Green

Jaye Marie Green began playing golf at the age of 11. As an amateur, she won the 2011 South Atlantic Amateur (Sally) Championship. At the close of her amateur career, Jaye Marie was ranked #1 American in the World Golf Rankings.

In 2013, Jaye Marie shot a record-breaking 29-under at LPGA Q-school and earned her full status on the LPGA tour.

Green is in her fourth year on the LPGA tour and has recorded numerous Top 20s and three Top 10s.

Golfers at our 2016 ScribeAmerica Charity Golf Tournament got the chance to test their skills against Jaye Marie. She served as our pro on the hole 15 Beat the Pro competition at Trump National Doral, helping us raise funds for four great veteran charities.

Participating Professional Golfers

We’re proud to introduce our Fore the Brave Pro-Am Charity golf tournament participants who believe in our mission to raise awareness for veterans and their families. Although golf is a solo sport, we are happy they have teamed up with HealthChannels CEO and former Army Ranger, Dr. Michael Murphy to champion the brave men and women who serve our country. Together, the event will have a meaningful impact by raising funds for organizations that provide aid to the families of fallen heros and offer critical support to service members returning from the front lines.

See here for a full list of participating professional golfers to our Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament.
